I've not been doing much of anything online these days. As a new homeowner "in these uncertain economic times" I have to do everything I can to save money while I fix up the new old house. So what that means is that all my spare time is now spent stripping.....

stripping paint, stripping wallpaper, stripping away 60 years of thoughless "improvements."

at some point this blog will become the chronicles of our bungalow restoration and remodel... but at this point I got to keep stripping.

Sometimes shit hapens...

The transporter broke down on the way home from the office today. Ended up walking about two miles, in the cycling shoes, which just might be the least comfortable walking shoes made...

However its hard to stay mad when there's a jug of Workhorse IPA from the local brewhouse waiting for me in the fridge at home...

Thats about all I have to say right now.... the beer's getting warm!

Jackie and I went over to Forest Park on Wednesday to check out some of the trails open only to hikers. There was quite a bit of traffic on the trails...

Friday ride report

No work today so an early AM exploratory ride of Forest Park was in order. Ride was ~40 miles, but I rode from home so half that was on streets there and back. Nothing too technical on the FP trails but its a good workout and really nice scenery.

The camera didnt come out much....
